DNP3 Protocol for TETRA

The TMO-100 has already preinstalled the DNP3 (Distributed Network Protocol) for TETRA protocol which is a set of communications protocols used between components in TETRA systems. This makes the TMO-100 the ideal solution for utilities such as electric and water companies using TETRA infrastructures. It was developed for communications between various types of data acquisition and control equipment. It plays a crucial role in SCADA systems, where it is used by SCADA Master Stations (aka Control Centers), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs). It is primarily used for communications between a master station and RTUs or IEDs.

With just a click on the embedded web server users may choose from many preinstalled protocols, these include: Modbus RTU, or Modbus/IP, DNP3 and DNP3/IP, IEC60870-5-101 and -104 as well as others. Of course, for IP-Routing the device is equipped with an embedded router, so no additional device is needed when using Packet Switched (IP) Data; making the TMO-100 the all-in-one highly diversified choice.
